GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers safety Charles Woodson has a broken collarbone and will be out approximately six weeks. Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed the severity of the injury yesterday. The Packers next host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The money will help pay for part of the $143 million renovation not covered by the team's stock sale. The league approved the money under a program that helps teams pay for new stadiums.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Hunter Pence hit a two-run double last night as the San Francisco Giants blanked the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 to advance to the World Series. The Giants won their record-tying sixth elimination game of the postseason. Cardinals starter Kyle Lohse was tagged for five runs in two innings of work.
