Warriors win the Battle of Lake Mills, 28-7

Lakeside Lutheran remained without a number in the loss column for a fifth straight week Friday night. The Warriors rolled over their cross-town rival Lake Mills, 28-7.

Lakeside Lutheran came out of the gate running as Brennan Leis took a pitch left 15 yards to the house to give the Warriors a 7-0 lead in the first.

The L-Cats would attempt to rally a response on their next drive, but the Warriors would make the stand of the night. Travis Bachler intercepted Lake Mills' Turner Moen in the endzone, and returned the pick 102 yards for a touchdown to put Lakeside Lutheran up 14-0.

The Warriors travel to Lodi next Friday night in a matchup of two (2-0) teams in the Capital Conference.
