DENVER (AP) — Carlos Gonzalez collected four hits last night in the Colorado Rockies' 8-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Eric Young Jr. and Wilin Rosario each homered for the Rockies, who had 15 hits for the second straight night. Martin Maldonado went deep for the Brewers and Norichika Aoki added three hits.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings remains sidelined with a concussion. Jennings suffered a concussion on August 3rd during the Packers' "Family Night" and hasn't been on the field since. Coach Mike McCarthy says Jennings continues to be tested in accordance with the NFL's concussion protocols.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — One day after signing a contract extension, Green Bay Packers guard T.J. Lang got an earful from his teammates. Center Jeff Saturday joked that Lang had to hire an armored truck to haul around is newfound money. Lang took the good-natured jokes in stride, noting that his camaraderie with his teammates was one of the reasons he decided to stay in Green Bay.

CHICAGO (AP) — Brett Wallace and Fernando Martinez each hit three-run homers last night as the Houston Astros powered past the Chicago Cubs 10-1. Scott Moore added a solo shot and Jose Altuve doubled twice for the Astros. Cubs starter Chris Volstad fell to 0-9 on the year after giving up four runs in five innings.
