MIAMI (AP) -- Norichika Aoki and Jeff Bianchi each homered and drove in three runs last night in the Milwaukee Brewers'8-4 win over the Miami Marlins. Ryan Braun drove in Milwaukee's other two runs to give him 98 RBIs on the year. Giancarlo Stanton hit his 30th home run of the season for the Marlins.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Jaime Garcia carried a shutout into the eighth inning last night in the St. Louis Cardinals' 5-1 win over the New York Mets. Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina notched his 1,000th career hit with an infield single. Mike Baxter drove in the Mets only run with a sacrifice fly.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Adam LaRoche homered twice last night as the Washington Nationals routed the Chicago Cubs 11-5. Ian Desmond, Jesus Flores, Tyler Moore and Ryan Zimmerman also went deep for Washington. Alfonso Soriano hit a solo home run and a two-run triple for the Cubs.

UNDATED (AP) -- Five Big Ten teams are on the road this week, with three heading to the West Coast for games against opponents from BCS conferences. No. 13 Wisconsin plays at Oregon State on Saturday afternoon. Big Ten teams are 24-38-1 in regular-season games in the Pacific time zone or Hawaii since 1990.
