GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers will benefit from an NFL stadium construction program included in the league's new collective bargaining agreement. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello says owners have approved the Packers' request for $58 million to help renovate Lambeau Field. The team is in the process of adding about 7,000 seats to the stadium.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin basketball coach Bo Ryan is staying calm amid talk about his program rebuilding. The Badgers must replace point guard Jordan Taylor, who was an All-American honorable mention last year. Ryan says "I have all the faith in the world" that his young team will step up.
CHICAGO (AP) -- Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 12 rebounds last night to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 94-89 preseason victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Luol Deng added 21 points for the Bulls. Serge Ibaka led the Thunder with 24 points and James Harden added 13.
CLEVELAND (AP) -- David West scored 15 points last night to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 100-82 preseason win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his preseason debut, Danny Granger added nine points for the Pacers. Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers in scoring with 20 points.
