The Middleton girls basketball team didn't have to wait long to exact a measure of revenge against Big 8 rival Janesville Parker. And in so doing earned a share of the conference crown.
Just over a week after losing to the Vikings in Janesville, the Cardinal used a big 2nd quarter run to take control of their showdown for first place in the conference.
With the their win and Verona's victory over Janesville Craig, the Cardinals and Wildcats share the Big 8 title.
