MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The Wisconsin Lottery anticipates a lot of players will select combinations of tomorrow's date -- 8-8-08.
Lottery spokesman Andrew Bohage says the lottery expects there will be enough interest in those numbers that it'll reach a $3 million liability cap on at least one combination of 8s in its Pick 3 or Pick 4 daily lotto games.
That means that when the specific set of numbers reaches $3 million in potential prize payouts, sales of that number set are suspended.
Bohage says that while volume will be high, it likely won't approach last year's 7-7-07 date.
