FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- A Fond du Lac man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for punching a man who fell, hit his head on a sidewalk and later died.

A jury convicted 27-year-old Travis Seaton in March of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of 53-year-old Keith Rockweit, also of Fond du Lac.

Seaton apologized to Rockweit's family Wednesday, saying he "would sacrifice anything to give you back your father and repair your broken life."

Judge Richard Nuss noted many people spoke highly of Seaton but also that he had been out of prison only 17 months before the November 2006 fight. Seaton was convicted of substantial battery in 1999.

Seaton claimed Rockweit started the fight after he saw Seaton hug a woman he was dating.
