One Dead as ATVs Crash in Jackson County

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- A collision of two all-terrain vehicles in central Wisconsin left one person dead.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said Thursday the ATVs were going in opposite directions on a trail in the town of Brockway Wednesday afternoon when they collided on a curve.
A 50-year-old man running one of the ATVs was killed and the other operator wasn't injured.
The victim's name hasn't been released.
The accident remains under investigation. Officials say alcohol use is not suspected of being a factor.
