Governor Doyle Renews Green Tier Program
Gov. Jim Doyle has signed a law renewing the Green Tier Program designed to streamline state regulation of environmentally responsible businesses.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Jim Doyle has signed a law renewing the Green Tier Program designed to streamline state regulation of environmentally responsible businesses.
In signing the law Wednesday, Doyle called it an "integral part of my efforts to make Wisconsin a national clean energy leader."
The program is administered by the state Department of Natural Resources.
The governor said it's a "national model for responsible management, collaboration and development."
