WINNECONNE, Wis. (AP) -- A 43-year-old Oshkosh woman was found dead during the swimming portion of a triathlon in Winnebago County.

Sheriff's officials say Kim Schmidt was found floating in Lake Winneconne Sunday and was unresponsive when brought to shore.

Schmidt was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy is expected to be done Monday.

Two others deaths happened this summer during triathlons in Wisconsin. Fifty-four-year-old Julie Silletti died in June while participating in the Elkhart Lake triathlon. In July, 33-year-old Daniel Murray died during the Pewaukee triathlon.
