MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) -- A Chilton man already jailed in connection with his girlfriend's disappearance is now charged with her murder.
Fifty-one-year-old Roger D. Rosenthal was charged Thursday with first-degree intentional murder.
He was charged Jan. 29 with hiding a corpse, after the body of 39-year-old Michelle Jaeger was found in a wooded area near Brillion, in Manitowoc County.
The woman had been missing since Jan. 9. Her body was found on a sled covered with peanut bags and branches on Jan. 23 by two of Rosenthal's friends. They searched the land where they knew he hunted.
A message left after business hours Thursday with Rosenthal's public defender wasn't immediately returned.
