Dana is anchor of NBC15 News on weekend evenings. During the week, you can find her in the field reporting for NBC15 News at 5, 6 and 10.

Dana brings several years of reporting experience, including having worked in Traverse City and Cadillac, MI, and the home of Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills, Rapid City, SD.

Midwest is home for Dana, who grew up in Chicago. There she also earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Her experience, however, spans the globe, with work experience in Topeka, KS, Washington, D.C., and London.

During college, Dana learned to speak Italian in Milan, Italy, and later returned to Naples for an internship at the U.S. State Department consulate.

Here in Madison, Dana serves on the board of Wisconsin Academy for Graduate Service Dogs, or WAGS. You can learn more about the organization at www.wags.net.

In her free time, Dana enjoys traveling, shopping for antiques, watching ice hockey and doting on her family's three standard poodles.
