Dana is co-anchor of NBC 15 News on the weekend. During the week, you can find her in the field reporting for NBC 15 News at 5, 6 and 10.
Dana brings several years of reporting experience, most recently in Traverse City and Cadillac, MI, and the home of Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills, Rapid City, SD.
Midwest is home for Dana, who grew up in Chicago. There she also earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Her experience, however, spans the globe, with work experience in Topeka, KS, Washington, D.C., and London.
During college, Dana learned to speak Italian in Milan, Italy, and later returned to Naples for an internship at the U.S. State Department consulate.
In her free time, Dana enjoys traveling, shopping for antiques, watching ice hockey and doting on her family's three standard poodles.
A news junkie, Dana looks forward to bringing the day's news and compelling stories to Madison-area viewers. She says some of the best stories come from viewers themselves, so please drop her an email if you've got an idea to share.
