Max Hess joined the NBC15 news team in January 2014. He is very excited to call Madison his new home.
Wisconsin is not an unfamiliar place for him. Max is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he was also the news director at MUTV, Marquette's student television station. During his time at MUTV, Max reported, anchored, produced and edited news stories. He won three awards from the Milwaukee Press Club for Excellence in Wisconsin Journalism for his work at MUTV.
Max started his news career as an intern at WDJT in Milwaukee. He also interned at WTMJ in Milwaukee, The Morning Blend in Milwaukee, Hitradio RPR1 103.1 FM in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and WBNS in Columbus, Ohio. Max was also a promotions assistant for Newsradio 620WTMJ and an assignment desk editor for WTMJ.
