Chris joined the NBC 15 family in July of 2008. A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin the move back to the Badger state was always a goal.

Chris graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 2004. He began his professional career in the same city as a photographer for CBS affiliate, WKBT. It didn't take long to realize the news business was where he wanted to stay. After six months behind the camera Chris moved to KTTC in Rochester, Minnesota to try things on the other side of the lens. He spent a year as the station's Austin bureau reporter, taking in all that “Spamtown” had to offer. After moving to the "big city" he spent the next two years reporting in the shadow of Rochester's Mayo Clinic.

Chris jumped at the opportunity to come back to Wisconsin and couldn't be happier. He held strong being bombarded with the rants of Gophers and Vikings fans for 3 years and is glad to be back among friends. In his spare time Chris loves to catch up on all the Badgers, Packers, Brewers and Bucks have to offer. He also loves to get outside, spend time at his parent’s retirement home in Northern Wisconsin and has a newfound itch to compete in sprint triathlons. He says it only takes one to get hooked.

After a few years west of the Mississippi he's happy to be back in the only place on the world he'll ever call home.
