Charlie received his degree in Meteorology from the UW-Madison in 1988.
After graduating, he joined the Air Force and was a pilot before returning to Madison in 1990.
He has been forecasting the weather on television since 1990, and has been NBC15's morning meteorologist since 1994.
Charlie's children, Max and Jenna are totally awesome. They make him proud everyday.
In addition to his weather reports on NBC15 News, Charlie owns and operates WeatherNet, Inc, a weather consulting business. The company serves over 70 clients, including Madison Gas and Electric, Alliant Energy, the City of Madison, numerous construction companies, school districts, city governments, aviation interests and agricultural companies. In addition, he gives weather seminars for utility companies about how he weather impacts their operations. He also serves as an expert witness in weather related civil and criminal cases.
Charlie resides in Madison, in part, because he loves the outrageously high property taxes. He enjoys golf, reading and watching sports.
