A 13-year-old Beaver Dam girl has died after becoming ill at track practice.
Beaver Dam Unified School District Superintendent Donald Childs says the seventh-grader finished a run during the last practice of the track season yesterday afternoon and complained she wasn't feeling well.
Track team members alerted the coaches who called an ambulance and the girl's mother when she didn't have the strength to walk.
Childs says Alysa Sadowski died later, apparently of cardiac arrhythmia.
Sadowski is the third teenager to die this spring in Wisconsin during a track workout.
High school junior Adam Luing died April 17th after collapsing during track practice in Ontario.
On April third, Stevens Point Area High School senior Jason Schultz collapsed after running some sprints with other shot putters during a practice.
