The Baraboo Area Community Christmas Dinner is an opportunity to gather with others on the holiday for a hot, home-cooked meal with all of the trimmings, including turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salads, desserts and beverages. While there is no cost for the meal, a free-will offering will be accepted to help cover expenses. Reservations are encouraged, although not mandatory.

Greetings “Very Merry” Editors,
FRIDAY, December 13th and Saturday, December 14, 2013, Helen’s Daughters Studio presents “The Very Merry Holiday Fair© #7” in the Baraboo Arts Building (one block west of the Circus World in the historic Ringling winter elephant building), 323 Water Street, Baraboo, Wisconsin. Our festive Fair will include authors, local potters, bakers, farmers, jewelers, fiber artists, candy makers, glass artists, local non profits and so much more. 2013 will have many new faces . We're adding a third room with exciting gifting choices.
The Fair begins Friday at Noon and will continue until 6 PM. Admission is FREE both days! “Very Merry” drawings, specials and activities will make Friday a fabulous day to visit and shop. Fawn Creek Winery will offer wine tasting. Soup & sandwich available for purchase. Saturday 11AM -2PM, Park and Ride FREE on the Bar Buddy Bus leaving from the Al. Ringling Theatre and Art Building. Saturday hours are 9 AM to 4 PM.
“The Very Merry Holiday Fair© #7 joins Baraboo, Wisconsin’s - Holiday Celebration. The historic Al. Ringling Threatre will conduct tours; for a small fee the Sauk County Historical Society welcomes guests to our treasured Van Orden Mansion and it is all decked out for a Edwardian Christmas Open House; and Downtown Baraboo, Inc. An Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas - a month long festival) horse and wagon rides, carolers, “Santa in his living room” in a “real” nostalgic holiday shopping setting. December 13-14 - come visit Baraboo, Wisconsin on this busy and festive second weekend. It will be memorable!

CANDLELIGHT SKI, HIKE & SNOWSHOE-Mirror Lake State Park

The Friends of Mirror Lake and Mirror Lake State Park will be hosting our annual CANDLELIGHT SKI, HIKE & SNOWSHOE EVENTS for kids of all ages. We will have 2 easy 1-mile trails lit by torches….one for skiers and 1 for everyone to enjoy. The Park Friends will offer hot food and beverages available for purchase to enjoy around roaring bonfires. Proceeds from the night go to support the Friends of Mirror Lake for projects to improve the park and for educational opportunities. Free admission. WI State Park sticker required and will be available for purchase at the Park Office.
