3rd Annual Arts & Ales Festival

“Celebrate the Craft In Everyone” and also raise money for Cancer Research. On Sunday August 3rd in downtown Columbus is the 3rd Annual Arts & Ales Festival. Join us for a day of arts & crafts, food and craft beer, not to mention Free music from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm.
The live music stage will showcase Lion’s Mouth, The Big Bang String Thing, A Royal Clark, The Madpolecats and headlining is Owen Mays and the 80 Proof Boys.
A beer tent will be offering craft-brewed beer from Hydro Street Brewery of Columbus. Sweet Mullets Brewing of Oconocomowoc, One Barrel Brewing from Madison, Stonefly Brewing from Milwaukee, Driftless Brewing Company from Soldiers Grove and Public Craft Brewing Co from Kensosha will also be serving their beers.
Sandye and Aaron Adams of Hydro Street Brewery initiated the event in 2012 which was hosted on International Beer Day to help broaden the horizon of the local business spectrum and to help raise funds for the Columbus school district music program. For the second time we are proud to announce our other sponsor, Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders, who are donating their time and resources to benefit the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Hydro Street Brewery will be serving BBQ, and brats and burgers will be served by the American Legion. A bake sale will also be sponsored by the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Other scheduled activities include a kid’s activity tent, bean-bag tournament and poker tournament. The event will take place from 9am to 9pm on Dickason Boulevard in front of City Hall and the Columbus Senior Center.
Another highlight of the festival is a homebrewer’s competition featuring celebrity judge and craft beer aficionado, Phil Dawson of The Big 1070am, Madison’s Sports Station.

Come Celebrate the 31st Annual Susie the Duck Days on August 09th in Lodi, Wisconsin. Enjoy a wonderful family day that starts off at 8 a.m. with the Lodi Library run and continues at noon with the Lodi Rotary Parade. Immediately after the parade we launch Duck Derby dropping 3,000 rubber ducks into Spring Creek where they begin their journey traversing waterfalls and rapids on their way to the finish line. The afternoon continues in Lodi’s two beautiful parks with Goeres Park an adventure land for children with games galore. Relax with a bite to eat at “Taste of Lodi-Lake Wisconsin” providing a wonderful assortment of tasty treats while you enjoy Music in our beer garden. Admission is Free!

September 19 - 21, 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the festival, which has taken place in downtown Monroe since 1914. Cheese Tent, Family Farm Adventure Tent, Cow Milking Contest, Old Time Copper Kettle Cheesemaking Demonstration, Arts & Crafts, Children's Parade, vendors, three entertainment stages (yodeling, alphorns, accordions, rock'n'roll, blues), dairy farm and barn quilt tours, brewery and distillery tours, food booths (deep fried cheese curds, gourmet grilled cheese, cream puffs, brats, cheesecake on a stick and much more) and Wisconsin's only parade led by a herd of Brown Swiss cows.
