America’s Best Flowers Hosts 4rd Annual Dog Wash Fundraiser for Dane County Humane Society & 1st Annual Fundraiser for the Cottage Grove Canine Fund

Is your best friend a dirty dog? Bring them to America’s Best Flowers in Cottage Grove on Sat., July 26 for our 4rd Annual Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) Dog Wash fundraiser! From 11:00am to 3:00pm, volunteers from the DCHS will shampoo your dog from muzzle to tail. A donation of $10 or more is suggested.
On the same day, we’ll also be hosting the 1st Annual Fundraiser for the Cottage Grove Canine Fund! Larz, the new K9 member of the Cottage Grove Police Department, will be here with his handler, Officer Tony Koratko. There will be a demonstration of Larz’s police dog skills at 1:00pm. To help support our four-legged public servant, America’s Best Flowers will donate 5% of the total greenhouse sales that day to the Cottage Grove Police Department Canine Fund.
Tabby & Jack’s Mobile Grooming Service will be here to neatly trim those doggie nails for a suggested donation of $10-15. Poochie Portraits by Talbot’s Photography will snap the perfect 5x7” picture of you and your freshly washed friend in a private sitting for $30. All proceeds go directly to the DCHS.

It's almost time for Family Service Madison's 2nd Annual We Are Family Fundraiser! Family Service Madison has been providing mental health support to adults, children, and families in Dane County for over 100 years. All proceeds from this event will go directly to funding programs at Family Service Madison.
The event will include live music by Marcy and the Highlights, food, silent auction, wine pull, and an all cash raffle (1st prize is $1000).
Entry to the event is $30/person and can be purchased online, by phone, or at the door.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 tickets for $25.
Family Service Madison is a non-profit organization, making all donations 100% tax-deductible. All ticket sales and donations will help make it possible for Family Service Madison to continue providing services that instill hope and promote wellness in our community. Family Service Madison provides mental health counseling and therapeutic resources for adults, children, and families. Through an impressive array of programs including domestic abuse prevention, in-home counseling for at-risk families, day treatment for at-risk youth, anti-violence programs, alcohol and drug prevention services, older adult services, and outpatient counseling services, Family Service Madison is there.

1st Annual Hipster 5K and MS Fundraiser
Sauk City River Walk
The run/walk on the scenic River Walk paved trail begins at 5:00 p.m. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Riviera Bowl at 51 Polk Street. Participants should be checked-in by 4:45. Water and snacks will be provided for participants.
Following the run/walk, participants, families, and friends are encouraged to head inside Riviera Bowl for more fun, including raffle prizes, a bowling tournament, and food and drink. The fun will go all night. Anyone (whether participating in the 5K or not) is welcome to join the evening festivities inside, no entry fee!
The Blister Sisters are a team of women dedicated to fighting and ending multiple sclerosis. Feel free to wear either your favorite "hipster" attire, or wear something orange to show support in the fight against MS.

UCP Days 2014

UCP Days is a public awareness and fundraising campaign held during the summer. United Cerebral Palsy of Greater of Dane County (UCP) works with area businesses to organize the participation of over 2,000 employees. This year businesses can choose to participate in our UCP Days Lunch Event or take their own ideas and create an internal company fundraiser for UCP.
Lunch Event – Choose from select dates in May, June, July or August for your company to participate and order lunch from the menu UCP provides featuring a local restaurant. Collect a minimum donation of $10 from each person who orders lunch and sit back and relax while the UCP staff delivers your lunches to you. (Please note there is a minimum of 15 orders per location to participate.)
Casual Day – Pick a day for your company to dress down and support UCP. Collect $5 from each person who chooses to wear jeans and support our organization.
Company Activities – Staff events in which companies hold internal fundraisers including golf tournaments, competitions, cookouts, bake sales or other events.
