In return for payment of their college tuition, selected Janesville residents of color agree to pursue Wisconsin state teacher certification and return to Janesville to teach after completion of their degrees.

MadisonSOUP will be holding our event at Sector67-2100 Winnebago St. The event costs $10 to attend, tickets can be purchased/reserved at http://madison-soup.eventbrite.com Participants of the event will be served a meal of soup, salad, bread, and drink. During the meal, pre-selected presenters will give 5 minute presentations on a project that is providing a positive community impact. After presentations everyone will vote on their favorite project and the presentation with the most votes will receive the micro-grant created from the attendance fee minus the cost of food.

Join local celebrity servers as they support United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County (UCP) at UCP’s 28th Annual Celebrity Banquet & Auction on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Blackhawk Country Club. The evening will kick-off with a cocktail reception at 5:30 followed by a silent auction, dinner and celebrity games.

For more than 25 years, UCP’s Celebrity Banquet and Auction has been one of Madison’s most memorable and enduring charity benefits. As the signature fundraising event for UCP, the Celebrity Banquet is fundamental to the programs and services we provide to more than 1,500 children and adults with disabilities throughout southern Wisconsin.

Some 40 local celebrities help UCP host this exciting event each year. Past celebrities have included UW Football player Montee Ball, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, Meteorologist Brian Olson, News Anchor Leigh Mills, and many more. Join us for a festive evening benefiting UCP. This banquet is open to the public; however reservations are required.
