Betty Becker Memorial Walk Run

8am

Fireman's Park in Columbus WI
The Betty Becker walk/run remembers a great champion of Columbus causes, Betty Becker. Betty’s lively spirit and can-do attitude inspired many of us, so we continue to walk in her memory, using the funds for our community. The Step Sisters is a group formed by Betty to carry on the spirit of philanthropy and good will. The Sisters come together each year to raise funds for a worthwhile cause. This year the Sisters are expanding their efforts from a walk to a walk/run event to further their can-do attitudes to more of our neighbors, family members and friends

All proceeds from this event will be used for the Live It! Pre-teen Nutrition and Fitness Program held by Columbus Community Hospital within the Columbus & Fall River Middle Schools. This program aims to decrease obesity within our communities by teaching middle school aged youth about nutrition and the importance of physical activity and how it incorporates into their overall wellness.
