May 31 features a beer tent and live music from 5pm - 1am. Rachelle and the Red Hot Rattlers hit the stage at 8pm. $7 cover.
June 1st the car and motorcycle show runs from 9 am - 4 pm. Free admission for participants and spectators. Spectator's Choice Trophies will go to the top two cars and bikes. All show quality tractors, cars, trucks, motorcycles all welcome. Last year's event had over 200 cars and bikes. The beer tent opens at 10 am and live music starts shortly after and runs all night. Food from is also served all day. Saturday bands include The Revomatics, Southbound and The Love Monkeys

The evening includes staged readings from James Joyce's masterpiece novel, Ulysses, by Madison notables; an Irish trivia quiz; live Irish music by Alan Ng & Elizabeth Simcock; prizes; refreshments; lively conversation.

12th Annual 1940s Style Hangar Dance Featuring Ladies Must Swing:

Re-live the 1940s era by attending the Wisconsin Aviation Hangar Dance on Saturday, July 27th, from 7:00pm-10:30pm, featuring big band music performed by Ladies Must Swing, a jazz band consisting of 19 energetic dames (www.ladiesmustswing.com). Vintage wear is encouraged and there will be prizes for the best dressed couple and best dancers. The ladies will be performing 1940s tunes all night long - enjoy Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree, Seems Like Old Times, Leap Frog, In the Mood, Tennessee Waltz, and much more! Many great photo ops too! Vintage planes, including the B-29, will be parked outside the hangar!
A portion of the door sales and all of the drink and snack sales will go to benefit Badger Honor Flight (badgerhonorflight.org). They are a local nonprofit whose sole mission is to escort every War Veteran on a free trip to DC to see the memorials built in their honor. Their priority right now is Veterans from WWII and Korea, and terminally ill Veterans from any war.

Spencer Bell Legacy Show

The Spencer Bell Legacy celebrates the life of artist, musician and poet Spencer Bell who lost his life to adrenal cancer at the age of 20. His family, friends and fans will come together the second weekend in June to commemorate his legacy and to raise awareness for adrenal cancer. On Friday, June 7, a bowling fundraiser will be held at Badger Bowl beginning at 5 pm. Live music will follow starting at 8 pm. On Saturday, June 8, an all day celebration of music will be held at the High Noon Saloon. Tickets are available for all events at www.sblmadison.com.
