Breakfast with Santa

Join Monona Parks & Recreation’s annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 13 and see the Monona Community Center transformed into a winter wonderland. Reserved seating is available for 8:00, 9:00, or 10:00 am with pre-purchased tickets. There will be a limited amount of seating the day of event. Enjoy a breakfast including pancakes, french toast sticks, sausage links, bacon, apple sauce, milk, coffee, and dessert. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be available for photos throughout the morning. The Friends of Monona Senior Center have a special arts and crafts present-making workshop, and there will be horse drawn carriage rides (weather permitting)

Cost is $6.00 per person (ages 11+), $3.00 (children ages 3–10), 2 and under

The Singing Christmas Tree

In 1964 the first Singing Christmas Tree was performed at Willerup United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Wisconsin, and a local Christmas tradition began. The holiday presentation returns December 6th and 7th to celebrate 50 years of sharing the story of the birth of Jesus Christ through song and fellowship.

The Singing Christmas Tree will present “The Story of Christmas” on Dec 6th at 4:30pm and Dec 7th at 10:30am and 4:30pm.

Refreshments, including Scandinavian cookies and lefse, and a time of fellowship will immediately follow each presentation. The event is free and child care will be provided.

23rd Annual Making Dreams Come True "Christmas Toys for Kids". Admission is a new unwrapped toy or a monetary donation at the door. Live entertainment from 4 of the areas finest Country Bands, food and refreshments served all day, Door and Raffle prizes after each band. All proceeds will go to distribute and purchase toys for the area's needy children at Christmas.

Please join us for the annual holiday concert, performed by the Middleton High School Choir and directed by Tom Mielke. The choir spends the day traveling around the area giving performances and we are honored to be one of the venues for their day. The short concert will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 12:45 pm in the monastery assembly room. It is free and open to the public, and a light reception with cookies follows.
