MAYCO "Summer Magic"

The Madison Area Youth Chamber Orchestra (MAYCO), under the direction of Mikko Utevsky, announces the final concert of its fourth summer season. “Summer Magic” will be presented on Friday, August 22 at 7:30 PM at UW Music Hall, 925 Bascom Mall. The program features soprano Caitlin Ruby Miller singing Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915”. Also featured will be the overture to Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” and Shostakovitch’s Symphony No 9 in E flat major, Opus 70.

Tickets are available at the door: $7 for adults, students by donation. MAYCO is a summer program of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO) and features local high school and college musicians.
