Heavy Bombers Over Madison

Several vintage WWII era aircraft will be open for rides and ground tours for this 3-day event. 9am to 7pm daily.
Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to view and ride on the only airworthy B-29 "FIFI". The EAA's B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" and the CAF B-24 "Diamond Lil", a C-45 "Bucket of Bolts", SNJ-5, PT-26, T-6 Texan, P-51 "The Brat III" will also be available for rides and ground tours! Merchandise and refreshments, including Famous Dave's BBQ, will be available during the event.

24th Annual Strawberry Fest Model Railroad Show

Free Admission. Two huge gyms feature ten operating model railroad layouts (some as large as 24’ x 52’), a Lego layout and a hands-on Thomas the Tank Engine layout for the children. Ride the train with Engineer Ted, and switch trains with Conductor Carlson. Shop the hobby shop dealers and vendors and the swap/sales tables. Visit the model contest on Saturday. Attend the Demonstration Derby, both Saturday, 6/15 and Sunday 6/16 featuring continuous how-to demonstration sessions by modelers who will answer questions and show you how it is done. They will be working on trains, buildings, scenery, cars, boats, airplanes and more. Special Guest, Mark Lasee, a masterful modeler of highly detailed structures will also be demonstrating his techniques and answering your questions. Also visit the restored Waupaca Electric Railroad Baggage Car and see the progress on the restoration of the Waupaca Soo Line passenger station. Great Foods including strawberry short cake.
