Women can break free from pelvic-floor disorders
Nov 11, 2014 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Hotel Red, 1501 Monroe St., Monroe, WI 53716
Ever wish you could ask frank questions about those pelvic- floor disorders women don’t often discuss?
One in every three women will have a pelvic-floor problem in her lifetime, ranging from incontinence and prolapse to accidental bowel leakage. They’re not a normal part of aging, and can be corrected.
Two physicians from UW Health’s Women’s Pelvic WellnessFloor Clinic will be on hand to discuss those female issues Mother never told you about.
Dr. Heidi Brown and Dr. Dobie Giles will take questions and show how you can strengthen your pelvic floor with quick and easy exercises. Register early at http://www.breakfreefrompfds.org/events .
The event is sponsored by the UW departments of obstetrics and gynecology and urology, Meriter-UnityPoint Health and the Pelvic Floor Disorders Alliance.
