CAMP SPRINGS, Md. (AP) -- A gigantic mass of rain extending all the way from Western New York to New Mexico is continuing to dump huge amounts of rain on the nation's mid-section.
At the national forecast desk in Camp Springs, Md., forecaster Bob Oravec says some of the rain will be heavy enough to trigger flood warnings in the parts of the Midwest and the South.
On the back edge of the storm, it's snowing in Eastern New Mexico and the Texas panhandle where several inches of new snow are likely.
The entire system will continue to move Eastward, bringing rain to the Atlantic coastal areas tomorrow and Wednesday.
