...DENSE FOG CONTINUING IN SOME AREAS...

.INCREASING DEWPOINTS WILL ALLOW THE THREAT FOR DENSE FOG TO CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS...PARTICULARLY WITH AREAS THAT STILL HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF SNOW ON THE GROUND. THUS THE ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH LATE EVENING FOR WESTERN FORECAST AREA COUNTIES. FARTHER EAST...VISIBILITIES HAVE IMPROVED AND WILL LIKELY REMAIN ABOVE ONE QUARTER MILE.

* TIMING...DENSE CONTINUES ACROSS MANY AREAS...THOUGH THERE ARE A
FEW LOCATIONS THAT HAVE IMPROVED. THE THREAT FOR DENSE FOG WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS...UNTIL WINDS INCREASE
ENOUGH TO PROVIDE SOME MIXING IN THE LOW LEVELS.

* VISIBILITY...FROM NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY TO ONE QUARTER
MILE...WITH SOME OCCASIONAL IMPROVEMENT.

* IMPACTS...NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN, SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH FOR SOUTHERN WISCONSIN EXCEPT THE FAR SOUTHEAST UNTIL 12 NOON TODAY. VISIBILITIES OF A QUARTER MILE OR LESS WILL SPREAD FROM SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN INTO EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN EARLY THIS MORNING AND CAN BE EXPECTED TO LINGER THROUGH REST OF THE MORNING.
