BUTLER, Mo. (AP) -- Free automatic with your car? And not just the transmission. One Missouri dealership is trying to boost sales buy offering a free handgun or free gas with a car sale.
Max Motors general manager Walter Moore says most buyers are opting for the weapon. He suggests they go for a semiautomatic model "because it holds more rounds."
Buyers are given $250 bucks toward the purchase of the gas or gun. Moore says there haven't been any protests over his free-gun campaign. He says in Butler, folks believe in "God, guts and guns."

It's nice to know that Missouri is so safe and without crime that they even dare to do this. Are they insane?
