Bandit in Boxers Police in Kansas are looking for a guy who almost got away with a purse but left his jeans.

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Police in Kansas are looking for a guy who almost got away with a purse but left his jeans.

Officers in Wichita report a man broke into a house, apparently to wash his clothes. A woman told investigators she came home and found her laundry room a mess. She went upstairs to call her husband. That's when she saw a guy wearing only blue boxers.

According to police, the clean crook grabbed the woman's pocketbook and ran. She chased him and got her purse back. Police say the man got away, but left his jeans in the washer.
