DELTONA, Fla. (AP) -- Angry dad Raul Colon didn't even know his teen-aged daughter had a boyfriend. Now, he's charged with whacking the naked boy in the head with a pipe. According to police in Deltona, Florida, Colon said he heard strange noises come from his daughter's bedroom.

He says when he saw a naked stranger standing on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen-aged boy out the front door and called the cops. The teenager was treated at a local hospital. Colon is now charged with aggravated battery on a child and was released on $10,000 bond.

maybe the father thought the daughter was being raped or the home burglarized. He should not be punished, the "intruder" should be.

His daughter was a tramp!

anonymous on sept 18, I was not doing anything like that in high school. My mother taught me morals and self respect. Unfortunately, not all parents do that. And yes, kids experiment...but it doesn't dismiss the issue. You can't turn the television on without a show, or commercial being sexually driven. And I don't even have cable. I agree, give the dad a medal for protecting his family.

Give that Dad a Medal, and fine his Daughter for being disrespectful and stupid. What was that Dad to do, allow his Daughter to disrespect his Home like this? Kids get away with so much, and all because the Courts take away the right of the Parents.

Come on guys, Didn't you do stupid things when you were dating? I agree that what the kids did was wrong, and the dad shouldn't get punished for protecting his home, but since when were all of us adults perfect. Who has slept with someone (in your house or somewhere else) in high school, and told your parents about it?

I might not do the same, but I would send the boy running and fearing for his life!

Sounds to me like the boy needs a trip to the woodshed by his father, and the girl needs to be grounded for a good long time without her cell, mp3, internet, etc. Both knew what they were doing was wrong and did it anyways, keeping the fact she had a boyfriend from everyone. As far as I'm concerned the father with the pipe was provoked in a moment of controlled rage, or the boy would have gotten much worse if it was uncontrolled. Bottom line nowdays is kids get away with too much with no fear because whats going to happen to them? You cant even mildly cuff them up without someone calling social services and the kids know it. I do NOT believe in abuse in any shape or form, but it should be understandable to anyone that this kid got what he deserved.

Hell, I walked in on my now ex-wife with another man in my bed! I beat the hell out of him, he in turn went to the police and I was arrested and charged (by our very ambitious D.A) with domestic violence. Because my wife was there he decided it was a domestic issue, even though she admitted that I did not do or threaten her at all! Parents, remember what you were like when you were young? Unless your perfect, I am sure you did things that your parents would not be proud of. And if you think that your children are not doing the same thing, open your eyes! I think I would have done the same thing to this kid, knowing he was her boyfriend or not! Sometimes if you wanna act like a man, take your ass beating like a man!

To anonymous in Madison @ 3:24. "His daughter should be put in Juvie for a while" What kind of statement is that. I agree she shouldn't have a boy in her bedroom but it doesn't call for her to be locked away.

As a parent, I have taught my child to be repectful of others and if my child were to do something like this there would definitely be a huge problem. I do not agree with the girl's father being charged in this matter. He had no idea who was naked atop his daughter. You gotta do what you feel is right when it comes to protecting your family.

One good turn deserves another... you swing your pipe at my daughter, I swing my pipe at you.

That Man should get a Medal for defending his Daughter. How was he to know that his own Daughter was disrespecting his Home like that. I would have done a lot more then swing something at that Boy, i would have made sure that the Guy could not leave and calld the Law on him. His Daughter should be put in Juvie for a while.

WOW! Parents sometimes have to see it to believe it. Not my child!

I guess he should have taken the time to introduce himself. yeh right. A naked "man" in my daughter's bedroom. I'd swing first ask questions later. He was protecting his family and home. beg2differ is right.

If neither parent knew the boy was there, the father shouldn't get charged for anything. Teens have no right to invite people into their home without letting the parents know before hand.

Remind me not to live in Florida where apparently you can not defend yourself from an intruder. Don't come to my house in WI. I carry a gun, not a pipe.

I agree, the father should not get charged. The boy is lucky.

Anonymous, you wouldn't think it was so funny if it was your daughter. We expect more from our children, than sneaking around behind our backs. I don't think the Dad should be charged with anything. I think the boy should be charged with trespassing on private property (the home) without permission.

How was he to know she wan't being attacked? Obviously if this "child" was man enough to be having sex in the parent's house then he should be treated as an adult and maybe he should be held for statutory rape?

hahahaha his daughter was on her knees. man that made me laugh. whats her name and number?
