CASPER, Wyo. (AP) -- Nice kitty -- nice, big kitty. A Casper, Wyoming, police officer was dispatched to a home after a woman reported a pesky cat on her porch. Officer Mike Ableman was expecting to find an ordinary house cat. But instead, Ableman ran for cover inside the house when he saw a male mountain lion on the porch.

Homeowner Beverly Hood says she had reported a "big cat," but 911 dispatchers apparently thought she meant a big house cat. A game warden tranquilized the cougar, and the animal has been relocated.
