Freezing Fog Leads To Reduced Visibility And Slick Spots Monday Morning
Dense Fog Advisory In Place
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Low level moisture continues to be trapped at the surface thanks to a temperature inversion. This means continued cloudy skies and foggy conditions. The fog is expected to be dense once again Sunday night into Monday morning. Visibility will be under a mile and with temperatures well below freezing, untreated surfaces will be on the slick side. A Dense Fog Advisory is in place for all of southern Wisconsin.
The plus side is that the fog will create rime ice on just about all objects. This will make for a picturesque start to the work week. If you capture any photos, we want to see them. Upload them directly through the free NBC15 First Alert Weather App!
