Police investigate Fitchburg gas station burglary

FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) - The Fitchburg Police Department is investigating after the Capitol Petro gas station was burglarized Thursday morning.
In a press release, police say officers responded to the gas station, on 2770 S. Syene Rd., around 12:40 a.m. for an intrusion alarm.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the gas station was burglarized by one man who stole tobacco products, according to authorities.
The suspect has not been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
Police describe the suspect as a male wearing a stocking cap, multi-colored jacket, and brown pants.
