Grant Co. crash leaves three injured, says sheriff’s office

TOWN OF FENNIMORE Wis. (WMTV) -Three people were injured after two vehicles crashed in the Town of Fennimore, says the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to Highway 61 at Bartow Road around 6:40 p.m. on May 21.

While a mini-van was waiting to turn from southbound HWY 61 onto Bartow Road, an SUV collided into the van, says the sheriff’s office. The van was pushed into the northbound lane, while the SUV wwent into a ditch.

The driver and passenger in the van received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The SUV’s driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was cited for operating after revocation, inattentive driving, and operating a motor vehicle without consent.
