PRIMROSE, Wis. (WMTV) - A 27-year-old woman had to be taken by helicopter to a Madison hospital Monday following a collision with an agricultural sprayer that left the large vehicle partially atop her SUV.

According to the Dane Co. Sheriff’s Office, Emily Pomplun collided with the large tractor around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Co. Hwy. U and Ridge Road, in the town of Primrose. Investigators believe Pomplun’s vehicle had pulled in front of the farm sprayer.

The crash left Pomplun trapped in the vehicle and emergency crews needed to free her. She was then flown by Med Flight to UW Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities added.
