TOWN OF BARABOO, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sauk Co. Sheriff’s Office released the name of the driver killed over the weekend when his pickup went off the highway in the Town of Baraboo and crashed into a guardrail.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Jaryd Darrow was heading west on State Hwy. 136 when his truck went off the road along a curve near Raven Acres Dr. and onto the shoulder.

The 26-year-old Baraboo man overcorrected and the Toyota pickup went across both lanes of the highway and struck a guardrail. The truck overturned, partially ejecting Darrow from the vehicle, and came to a rest on its hood and roof.

A person who spotted the wreck Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. called the Sheriff’s Office to report it and first responders pronounced the Darrow dead at the scene.
