Caroline Peterson joined the NBC15 News family in June of 2018. She currently reports during the weekdays and anchors and produces the NBC15 News at 9 p.m. newscast on the weekends.
As a general assignment reporter, she has had the chance to cover a very wide variety of news including politics, agriculture, health, historic flooding and more. One of her most memorable stories was interviewing Gov. Tony Evers as he reflected on his first year in office.
Before her time at NBC15, Caroline worked as a reporter, anchor and producer at KOMU-8 News in Columbia, Missouri while attending the University of Missouri Columbia (MIZ!). She graduated from the Journalism school in 2018.
During her time in college, Caroline interned for places like NBC7 San Diego and Fox Sports SD. While a Socal native, she has family in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. You can catch her rooting for the San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins.
In her free time, she loves exploring any coffee shops and brunch spots with her best friend and husband, Adam. She loves her family, home improvement shows, music, sunny weather and volunteering at church.
