Tyler joined the NBC15 team as a Producer and Multi-Media Journalist in June 2022.
Tyler graduated in May 2022 from Marquette University, with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Digital Media.
Tyler’s love for television began at a young age. He grew up in Aurora, Illinois, and tuned into WGN’s newscasts almost every day to watch Chicago’s famous meteorologist Tom Skilling.
Over the years, his desire to become a meteorologist shifted to becoming a sportscaster.
Previously, he worked at Marquette’s student media program, the Marquette Wire. He reported on Marquette’s sports teams for both print and television. While a student, Tyler was honored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Midwest Broadcast Journalist Association winning numerous awards.
Tyler also served internships with WISN-12 and the Kalamazoo Growlers.
Outside of his job, Tyler sings and plays guitar for his band back home. You might even catch him performing here in Madison.
