Morning News Anchor/First Alert Safety Desk reporter
Aisha Morales

Aisha started her journey at WBAY at the start of August 2016.

In 2016, Aisha had moved here from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she was a weekday reporter and weekend weather forecaster/storm chaser. She was a reporter and weekend anchor here in Green Bay for about five years before getting a major promotion, stepping in as an Action 2 News This morning Anchor and Noon Anchor after legendary Anchor Kevin Rompa retired.

She is also now WBAY'S first First Alert Fastcast Anchor, operating the First Alert Digital Desk where she adlibs top stories of the day, weather, traffic, all the while operating as her own sound operator and director.

Since her time in Northeast Wisconsin she has also received an Eric Sevareid Award of Merit for her "Learning 2 Adapt" piece speaking to kids in the community about how the 2020 pandemic was affecting them on various levels.

Aisha Morales attended Arizona State University — Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She graduated in 2011. At the university, she gained experience producing then reporting for the award-winning student newscast, Cronkite News. She also interned at FOX10 in Phoenix, alongside veteran anchors and reporters in a top 20 T.V news market.

After college she started her career in Yuma, Arizona, at KYMA News Channel 11. There she worked as a reporter, anchor, producer and even gave the weather at the number one station in the market. She focused on her skills being able to shoot and edit her own stories.

She made the move to Colorado Springs in 2014. She worked for FOX21 News for a couple of years as a reporter then reporter/forecaster/storm chaser. It was during her time here when she received her award for Best Investigative Reporting from the Colorado Broadcast Association.

As a big Green Bay Packers fan, Aisha could not refuse the chance to work in Green Bay. She loves the town and hopes to stay here for many years to come. She participates in several community committees on topics she is passionate about, including diversity/inclusion and environmental causes.

She enjoys collecting records and going on walks. Exploring is her favorite thing to do!

If you have any story ideas she’d love to hear them.
