Coming from the East Coast, Daniel made the leap to the Midwest to try something new. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Daniel moved to College Park, MD where he attended the University of Maryland becoming Merrill Made and a proud Terp.
Shortly after, he left the D.C. area and went up to Baltimore where he got his start in TV News as a part-time video editor at WJZ-TV.
Eventually, when the stations 24/7 news stream launched, he worked as a full-time AM producer. It helped him learn more about the digital side of operations, but he still yearned for a career in reporting and getting to know the community first hand.
After visiting Eau Claire once, in December of all times, he really liked the vibes and decided it would be the best place to launch that reporting career.
Daniel is now working for the community as WEAU 13 News' full-time weekday evening reporter.
He is always ready to hear your story and eager to continue to live by the "Community First" motto WEAU 13 News lives by.
