Morgan Wolfe joined the NBC15 News team in June 2016 as a Reporter.
Originally from the Twin Cities, Morgan spent many summers splashing around Wisconsin Dells and is excited to make this area her new home. She is eager to connect with the community and looks forward to exploring lake life in Wisconsin!
Morgan enters Badger territory after graduating from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Journalism. In college, she interned at three news stations in Minneapolis: KARE, WCCO, and KSTP. She also interned for a lifestyle talk show, Twin Cities Live. Morgan was a temporary floor director at KARE, and worked some weekends overnight as an assignment desk editor. While at WCCO, she covered national stories like a Black Lives Matter protests at Mall of America. At KSTP, Morgan worked in the digital media department writing for the news website and managed social media accounts. She was able to put her photography skills to the test at Twin Cities Live as she shot and edited for the show, and appeared on-air a few times. In 2014, she studied and interned abroad in London for a media production company, where she was able to experience first hand British news and culture.
During college, Morgan was also an active member of Pi Beta Phi, and University of Minnesota's Society of Professional Journalist.
In her free time, she loves outdoor actives like rollerblading, kayaking, and golfing. Sometimes she tries to cook but loves going out to eat at new restaurants and breweries. Three of her favorite things besides her family are: chocolate, dogs, and shoes.
