Morgan Wolfe joined the NBC15 News team in June 2016 as a MMJ. She worked her way up to weekend morning anchor, then weekday 9 p.m. anchor.
Morgan is a four-time Emmy nominated MMJ, and was recognized as a 2018 NPPA Award finalist for the Solojournalist Soft Feature category.
Morgan has covered national stories in Wisconsin, such as, a workplace shooting at WTS Paradigm, a nationwide manhunt for Joseph Jakubowski, the controversial photo of high school students allegedly doing a Nazi salute, and an explosion that took the life of a firefighter. Her favorite broadcast memory was reporting live from her home state of Minnesota for Super Bowl 52.
Since 2016, Morgan has grown to love Madison like home. She particularly enjoys the restaurant scene, variety of gyms and workout studios, and beautiful parks. OH YEAH, and the cheese curds. Most recently, Morgan rescued a King Charles Cavalier from the Chicago area. Ralphy is her best friend!
Morgan graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Journalism (Go Gophers!). In college, she interned at three news stations in Minneapolis: KARE, WCCO, and KSTP. She also interned for a lifestyle talk show, Twin Cities Live. In 2014, she studied and interned in London for a media production company, where one time Kate Middleton waved at her.
Morgan is passionate about ending hunger in the United States. She is an active member of Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin’s NRSSH group. Morgan was an active member of Pi Beta Phi, and University of Minnesota's Society of Professional Journalist during college.
