Bucky on Parade: 1 statue vandalized

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- One of the statues from Bucky on Parade was found in the water near James Madison Park in Madison on Thursday morning.

Joel Despain, with the Madison Police Department (MPD), said officers were called to the park on the 600 block E Gorham St just before 7:00 a.m.

Sunburst was pulled out of Lake Mendota after 8:30 a.m.

Despain said MPD is investigating this as a criminal damage to property case.

All 85 Bucky on Parade statues were revealed on Monday at 11:00 a.m. around the Madison area.
