MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two registered sex offenders will be released back into the city of Darlington, police announced Friday.
Matthew J. Buman, age 47, will reside at an apartment at 209 Main Street. Buman’s criminal history includes 2nd degree sexual assault of an adult; battery; drive or operate vehicle w/o consent; false imprisonment; theft; and possession of methamphetamine.
Charles S. Martelle, age 55, will also live at 209 Main Street. Martelle’s criminal history includes 1st degree sexual assault of children.
Both men will be monitored electronically, Darlington police say. The two may not have unsupervised contact with children; may not consume alcohol or drugs; may not patronize taverns; and must comply with standard sex offender rules, police say.
