UW Russian Folk Orchestra celebrates 20 years

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)---The UW Russian Folk Orchestra is holding a free concert celebrating Russian folk music.

This year is the 20th anniversary concert. It will be held on April 8th at 7:30 p.m. at the Mills Concert Hall on the UW-Madison campus.

The orchestra is featuring four soloists. Two of them are from Madison, and the other two are from outside the area.

There will also be two world premieres by the assistant conductor and one of the soloists.
