3 arrested in Janesville human trafficking sting operation

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) -- Authorities arrested three men after a human trafficking sting operation at a Janesville hotel on Wednesday.

According to Janesville Police Department, 25 to 30 men reached out to undercover officers to request sexual acts.

Three men were arrested for pandering when they showed up to the Baymont by Wyndham. They include 35-year-old David Hanley of Janesville, 53-year-old Paul Rote of Janesville, and 46-year-old Keith Dabbs of Delavan.

The operation was a collaboration between the Janesville Police Department, Beloit Police Department, Clinton Police Department, Beloit Township Police Department, Rock County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, Rock County District Attorney's Office, and the Janesville Fire Department.
