Police search for 2 men who broke into Madison Kwik Trip and stole cartons of cigarettes

A store camera caught the two men breaking into a Madison Kwik Trip and stealing cartons of cigarettes. Police are still searching for the burglars.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Police are searching for suspects after two men broke into a Kwik Trip in Madison and stole a large amount of cigarettes early Monday morning.

Madison police shared photos of the burglars in the act, at the convenience store at 3528 E. Washington Ave. on the city's far east side.

Police say the two disguised men used a screwdriver and crowbar to break in around 2:37 a.m. Both men entered and stole cartons of cigarettes.

One suspect is described as a man wearing a dark colored hoodie with “Wisconsin” written in red, a black ski mask, a gray skull cap, dark blue pants and black gloves. He had a screwdriver with an orange handle.

The other suspect is described as a man wearing a black hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath, light blue jeans, black Nike Air Force One shoes with a gray Nike logo and white latex gloves. He was armed with a black crowbar.
