MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) We are in the heart of Winter and this weekend will prove just that! Cold temperatures Friday into Saturday will drop to around 10 below zero. Wind chill values will be down to 20 below zero. This has prompted a Wind Chill Advisory for the western third of the area. The good news is that we will see plenty of sunshine through Saturday which will make high temperatures into the teens feel and look a little better.
Changes arrive for the second half of the weekend and it will include a good chance of snow. Increasing clouds Saturday night will bring snow by sunrise Sunday. It looks to be fairly steady through Sunday evening. While it won't be overly heavy, it will be steady. Accumulations look to be in the 1-4 inch range by Sunday night. With cold temperatures locked in place, this will be all snow and likely a fluffier snow.
