LOS ANGELES (WMTV/NBC) -- Barron-native Chris Kroeze is waiting to hear if he is chosen as "The Voice."
On Tuesday night it was between Kroeze and Chevel Shepherd to win "The Voice" competition. It was Shepherd and her coach Kelly Clarkson who was named the winner.
On Monday, Kroeze performed three different songs in the NBC competition. One of the performances included an original song, "Human." The song reached the third spot in the iTunes Charts.
"It's a great song, it's a great message and the production on it turned out so good. I'm just happy I got to cut it," said Kroeze. " Two of the biggest songwriters in Nashville wrote it. And for me to have the opportunity to record it is insane."
On Monday, fans across Wisconsin celebrated the singer for "Chris Kroeze Day." The wore flannel and beards to support the singer.
During the live finale on Tuesday night, Kroeze will take the stage with The Doobie Brothers. Kroeze performed "Long Train Runnin'" on November 26.
