MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Concerts on the Square started Wednesday evening, officially kicking off the sound of summer.

Concerts on the Square officially kicked off Wednesday.

Wednesday’s show features Maestro Andrew Sewell, who is known for his innovative taste and knack for finding talent.

And speaking of talent – The 2019 'Young Artisti' winner Sakurako Eriksen will also be playing tonight. She is 17 and from Madison.

Tuesday’s theme is East meets West. Eriksen has traveled the country advancing her piano skills, and currently lives in Milwaukee.

The concerts start at 7 p.m. but people are already here saving their spots.

Three things you will need tonight: dress in breezy clothes because it is hot. Maybe bring a fan; with all the rain lately, bring some bug spray with you; and if you get too hot, cool off with some ice cream.
